OUR HISTORY

Universal Windows Direct was founded in 2002  by a couple guys from Fairview Park, Ohio; William Barr and Michael Strmac. It was their mission to create a home improvement company that offers  the highest quality home improvement goods at factory direct prices.  Their dream became reality as their  350 square foot office quickly grew to become one of the Nation’s leading remodeling companies. 

Today, Universal Windows Direct has a rapidly growing dealer network of over 30 locations.   We represents thousands of customers from 20 different states and one region in Canada.  We are a Better Business Bureau member in good standing and in 2011 we were ranked #34 by Qualified Remodeler Magazine’s annual list of Top 500 Remodeling Companies Nationwide. 

Additionally, we believe in giving back.  We are actively involved in the communities we serve as well as supporters of various charities including: Multiple-Sclerosis, Ashley’s Hope, Habitat for Humanity, Susan G. Komen: Race for the Cure, Make-A-Wish and Big Brothers, Big Sisters. We look forward to serving you needs in the near future
